Detailed Itinerary
D1 Arrival in Xian
Arrive in Xian and transfer to your hotel. Evening explore the ancient City Wall illuminated at night. Welcome dinner with local specialties.
D2 Xian Highlights
Full day exploring the Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Muslim Quarter. Evening dumbing banquet with Tang Dynasty music show.
D3 Xian to Dunhuang
Flight to Dunhuang. Afternoon visit to the Mingsha Mountain (Singing Sand Dunes) and Crescent Moon Spring. Sunset camel ride across the dunes.
D4 Mogao Caves
Full-day exploration of the Mogao Caves — a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 735 grottoes containing stunning Buddhist murals and sculptures spanning 1,000 years. Guided tour of select caves including the Great Buddha Hall.
D5 Dunhuang to Turpan
Flight or train to Turpan. Afternoon visit to the Jiaohe Ancient City ruins — a 2,600-year-old city perched on a leaf-shaped plateau. Explore the Karez Underground Irrigation System.
